Crufts spotlight CaniX
This years Crufts featured CaniX for the first time in the shows 117 year history. 56 breeds took part from the Pug to the Pyrenean Mountain Dog. 70 teams lined up alongside BBC presenters Ben Fogle and Matt Baker with the field divided into eight age classes. The youngest competitor was 10, the oldest was 67.
The spectacular race start was in the Main Arena before exiting the hall for a lap of the lake at the National Exhibition Centre, before finishing on the beech with the lake conveniently situated for an impromptu dip. MORE
