CaniX Arena/start shoot (Crufts Main Arena)

The Kennel Club have invited CaniX UK to run a CaniX event at Crufts in March 2008 – the first time CaniX will feature in the shows 117 year history.

This will give your company exposure in the Main Arena at the biggest and most prestigious dog show in the world. As well as being associated with an organisation promoting a healthy lifestyle for canine (and human) and responsible pet ownership — not to mention the newest and most exciting sport to hit the dog world.

Crufts is expecting record visitors. As this is the first time CaniX will feature at Crufts, we are expecting a lot of TV and media coverage. With the obesity timebomb being a hot topic over the past year, the health benefits CaniX offers and the looming 2012 London Olympics — CaniX is especially newsworthy.

The CaniX race will start at 1:05pm and will consist of:

• 80–100 runners with dogs.
• A spectacular line up of all breeds.
• 12 classes (6 age groups, male and female).
• Start in the Main Arena (in front of the VIP seating).
• Full circuit of the Arena, seating 6,000 people (TV cameras are in all four corners).
• Exit Arena and Hall (the shoot will continue through the public area to the Hall exit).
• Outside: a full circuit of the lake (roads will be closed for the duration).
• Finish: on the beach near the main entrance.
• A total distance of 2kms.
  
  
• We will be back in the Main Arena at 3:05pm to present the medals to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed winners.

Sponsorship
Banners and positions will be issued on a first come first served basis. To reserve your banner/flag, please contact us to confirm what positions are available and request an order form by email or tel: 07711 818241.

Banners
Size 2m x 1m (LxH).
Branded with your logo on both sides (image area is 1600mm x 80mm).

There are three levels of sponsorship:

• Leg 1 (total: 15 banners) — no maximum (ie one company could take all 15 banners).
• Leg 2 (total: 10 banners) — limited to a max. two per company.
• Leg 3 (total: 13 banners) — limited to a max. one per company.

Flags
Size: 4m (H).
Branded with your logo on both sides.
The flags will be used twice in the Arena – during the race and again at prizegiving, together with 3 discs on the floor to signify 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
No maximum (ie one company could take all 4 flags).

Bibs (race numbers)
Size: 150x210mm.
All bibs to be branded with your logo on the bottom third (top third is CaniX, middle third is race number).
Limited to one company.

Prizegiving: trophies, medals and rosettes
At 3:05pm a prizegiving ceremony will be held in the main Arena.
A trophy will be awarded to first place in each class, engraved with your company name.
Medals will be awarded to humans, rosettes to dogs (carrying your company name), to 3rd place in each class.
A representative from each company who sponsor 1st, 2nd or 3rd will make the awards.
Following prizegiving, photos of each group (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will be taken with each company representative to be used for publicity.

There are three levels of sponsorship (NB not limited, ie one company could award all prizes):

• First (trophy - engraved with company name)
• Second
• Third

Publicity Photos
CaniX UK will have several photographers capturing the whole event. All sponsors of Crufts CaniX will be given the opportunity to use any shots released for their own publicity.

All companies sponsoring the 2008 Crufts CaniX will receive a banner ad on this website SEE WEB STATS for the remainder of the 2007/08 season (until August 2008).

All charities receive 25% discount

All current sponsors of the CaniX UK 2007/08 season and advertisers in the CaniX Handbook v.2 receive a 25% discount.

All companies who sponsor Crufts CaniX 2008 will be given preference and a discount in sponsorship of any future Crufts CaniX events.
