National Pet Week awarded this event a 'Special Category Winner' for 'an outstanding contribution in the promption of responsible pet ownership'

A big THANK YOU to the 50 competitors and their four legged team mates, marshals and helpers and many of you who printed posters from the website to help promote the event. A lot of work went into organising the event behind the scenes and to those that gave of their time freely, a huge thank you. If anyone wants to muck in on the next one, please contact Eileen, many hands make light work and would be much appreciated.

To those who completed their event questionnaire, thanks for your useful comments these will go toward making the next event that much more successful. In general, people found the course and terrain about right with a preference toward grass/dirt trails.

The team charity event was a great success and will now be included in all future events. The Sundean Trophy (sponsored by Sundean Veterinary Clinic from the Forest of Dean) was won by the team Four Sibes and a Collie. Five charities were supported on the day with a total of £667 raised. Well done to the 21 competitors that made up the five teams.
