Event: The Look Out, Bracknell Forest (26 Nov 2006) Join the Cani-Cross UK mailing list and receive email updates of future events CLICK HERE Is there any rain forecast? Our second race at The Look Out this year (see Bracknell Feb 06) proved popular again with 75 entrants, 30 returning to face the menacing puddles of the Bracknell Forest with our first Rhodesian Ridgeback amongst the 45 newcomers. The occasional clap of thunder and constant downpour did not do anything to dampen spirits with the majority enjoying the warmth, shelter and hot snacks at the cafe before prize giving. The start was an uphill that raised the body temperature leaving behind any feelings of cold at the start line. There was a bit of everything, uphill, downhill, flats, forest track, rain, pools of water, mud you name it we had it! The 5.4km course was a true cross country challenge - the fastest times of the day were: - Male (17-39) I Preston with a Border Collie ... 5.4km
