Colin Jackson takes to CaniX

Colin Jackson was at our Bracknell CaniX event on the 14 Oct 2007 to promote CaniX on The One Show (BBC1, 25 Oct — click here to watch again). Colin and Phil Tufnell are setting each other challenges, raising the profile of minority sports

Eileen had the pleasure of taking Colin's inside leg measurement (which I'm not sure was absolutely necessary!) and fitting him with CaniX gear. I took Colin through his paces with our two Huskies and gave him tips on running with dogs (which I'm not sure was absolutely necessary!)

Colin did all his training with a husky, but when it came to the race Phil Tufnell had organised a surprise...Tess, a Border Terrier was the star of the show. Now retired, Tess won Gold in last years CaniX UK Championship so Colin was in good hands.

As well as interviews with several of our runners, Colin stayed to congratulate the runners at prizegiving and the obligatory photocall.
