Pembrey Country Park is one of Britian's sand dune forests and provides a unique blend of countryside and coast with one of the cleanest beaches in Wales. The park, managed by Carmarthenshire County Council has 202 hectares of activities to enjoy. The Forestry Commission manage the remaining 800 hectares of forest.

Championship points will be awarded for each race. The main prizegiving will be on Sunday for the standard 2-day CaniX, dog treats for all immediatley after night run and beach CaniX.

Camping is available for tents, caravans and motorhomes at the venue (close to the start/finish) for Friday and Saturday night (camping must be pre-booked). Facilities include: toilets with hot/cold water (no showers), fresh water, waste water and refuse disposal and an abundance of space to exercise your dogs. There are no electric hook-ups. There is a cafe/restaurant on site. Your camping pass includes FREE entry (exit and re-entry) to the park (normally £5 per day).

Camping pitches in the park must be booked:
- Tents: £4.50 per person per night (CaniX members)
- Motorhomes/camper/caravans: £19.80 per unit per night (CaniX members)

Directions

Sat nav users: SA16 OEJ (follow brown signs to Pembrey Country Park).

From the M4 exit J48. Follow signs to Llanelli. Drive through Llanelli following signs for Pembrey (west on the A484). As you leave Pembrey, turn left following brown signs to Pembrey Country Park.

Once you are in the park, follow the road and turn right just after the Go Ape! hut. Drive past the cafe and you will see the START line at the end of the road by the sharp right turn.

At the venue Parking charges apply at the gate (included for those camping) there is no height barrier. Toilets will be available from early in the morning. The cafe will be open at 10am.
